The ‘Book of Luke’ was written in Greek by a follower of Jesus named Luke. He was a doctor who came from a non-Jewish family. The ‘Book of Luke’ is the 3rd of four books that tell the story of Jesus, and is popular because it is easy to read and includes many of the miracles Jesus performed.
